Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with 1 tbsp melted butter to prevent sticking.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
Assemble: Spread cooked noodles in the baking dish, followed by the cheese mixture, then the beef sauce.
Top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. For a golden top, broil for 2-3 minutes.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a crispy topping, mix panko breadcrumbs with butter and sprinkle on top before baking.
